Shakespeare’s plays and language can often be confronting, but with the right tools and fun hands on activities, Shakespeare can be brought to life in an engaging and relevant way. By immersing ourselves in the life and times of Shakespeare, students will learn:
how to decipher the language of Shakespeare for themselves
the history of the Elizabethan stage
the influences Shakespeare has on modern English
the plots of Shakespeare’s most popular plays by acting them out
All the material will be age appropriate and structured to generate a lifelong interest in the works of the Bard.
